Optima Naturals was founded in Italy in 2005, boasting a long experience in the phytotherapeutic sector resulting from many years of corporate collaboration with important British companies including: William Ransom & Sons plc, the oldest pharmaceutical company in the UK.
Over the years, this long-standing collaboration has led to the development of the Research and Development part at the Gallarate site, which has been flanked by the first Made in Italy products, which today characterise the offer of health products for well-being and beauty, derived exclusively from natural sources.
The company boasts many firsts, including having been the first to bring ellagic acid-based formulations to the Italian market, through the Heart of pomegranate brand, and having made an important natural resource such as Manuka Honey, e la linea di prodotti specifici Manuka Benefit line of specific products.
Today, the company’s offer consists of over 160 references, covering within the Food Supplements, Natural Cosmetics and Medical Devices segments over 40 health categories through more than 30 different pharmaceutical forms.
All productions are based on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) directives and the supply chain control of raw materials is carried out with over 1,200 annual product quality tests.
Optima Naturals works with its Partners to implement marketing plans designed to support the development of product market share in the Italian market, offering support to the various teams dedicated to research, production, marketing and all other technical and economic aspects.
